  apparently so.. back in the early 60's, my father was the po of a london congregation.

  absolutely thrilled to give you the news that my younger brother, a zealous full-time pioneer has left the witnesses!!.

  i haven't seen or spoke to him in a year.

  i'd lost all contact with him, no facebook, no mobile number, i didn't even know his address because he'd moved house.

  Stay close to him PE. Depression doesn't magically disappear. He will have lows I'm sure but you can help pick him up. As he substitutes real life for WT servitude he will continue to enjoy life so much more. Extremes tend to lead to disappointment, inside the org and out, so keep an ear open and love that brother to life!

  If one is honest with ones self they would recognize that a swami such as you promote has no sense of right or wrong. He just wills it all away. Rather comical.   Unconditional, the anger you perceive is based on a realistic view of this sort of pseudo spiritual gibberish getting in the way of real help and relief for victims. There was not one practical suggestion in that video. The whole thing was defining terms and non specific ones at that. Promoting such crap encourages self therapy which, in this case, is another form of abuse as far as I am concerned. He gives nothing practical and says nothing useful. A therapist can listen and adjust their counsel to fit the patient's need. If you were to actually deal with this situation, and I cannot say if you have, you would understand the damage that cannot be healed by pop/spiritual psychology.

  I can't completely agree. I went back to college at 43 and graduated at 47. No, I cannot be 29 - 40 again, but I could be a free 40 - dead person. I am loving it, I am not trying to relive my youth but its great each day I get to remain living carbon. Did try some MJ and a little sex, don't crave it these senior days and that's fine. Fortunately I was inactive from 16 to 29 and sowed my wild oats. Its been a long strange trip.

  the u.s. supreme court has overturned a north carolina law prohibiting registered sex offenders from using facebook or other social networking sites that minors can join.. the challenge was brought by lester gerard parkingham jr., a registered sex offender in north carolina, who faced additional charges after durham police found a facebook page he created under an assumed name.. the case raised questions about whether such laws prohibit sex offenders from participating in web-based forums, which have become virtual town squares, as they re-enter society.. “this case is one of the first this court has taken to address the relationship between the first amendment and the modern internet,” justice anthony kennedy wrote in the majority opinion.

  Facebook has a policy that sex offenders are not allowed to use their services. It is a private concern and therefore not compelled by law to include sex offenders. The whole thing is pretty stupid. They are restricted by the site owner and are removed if found out. As far as the other restrictions imposed by the state, that's another matter. To say its illegal to restrict them from Facebook is a moot point.
